Question 4

Map World of the National Platform for Common Geospatial Information Services integrates geographic data resources from national, provincial, and municipal surveying and mapping departments, government departments, enterprises, and public institutions. Off-cloud deployment of Map World has these pain points:

1. Web crawlers maliciously crawl map data.

2. The MongoDB community edition loads map data too slowly.

3. The application trace is too long, making troubleshooting difficult.

4. Map World is accessed 500 million times every day and cannot meet the requirements for rapid service growth.

To address these pain points with a distributed architecture and auto scaling, which Huawei Cloud services can be used?

Elastic Load Balance (ELB): Hundreds of millions of connections are supported, and services are evenly distributed to different cloud hosts.
Cloud Firewall (CFW): Web crawlers can be effectively blocked to keep map data secure.
GaussDB(for Mongo): The decoupled compute and storage and the storage engine deliver a write speed 2 to 4 times faster than off-cloud.
Application Performance Management (APM): Full-link monitoring and warning help locate problems.
